In 2010.

Relationships.
Im not rushing into anything. This is MY year and Im celebrating myself. If a guy conflicts me in any way, I will discontinue any contact. No more dogs flirting with my friends. No more "Can we be friends with benefits" (thought that never happened to begin with.) If I have to contradict myself and my beliefs to be with him, then I should NOT be with him. I dont mind being single. It can be me and God for the rest of my life. Im fine with that.
Friends.
I've always been a pretty optimistic person. If I sense a negative vibe from anyone, I will excuse myself from their prescence. Im speaking my mind from now on. If I dont want to do something, I wont. If you dont like it, good-bye. Life is too short, and I refuse to spend minw with people that's tryin to hold me back.
Fashion.
I have been lucky to have to opportunity to live in Virginia for a couple of months where I attended college at Hampton University. There were people from every region of the United States, so I got to see how different people dress. Before, I was content with wearing jeans, a shirt, and some flats. Now, I am going to pretend as if my clothing is my poetry. I will express myself inwhat I wear. Im not following any trend, or rules. If people dont like it, its fine. As long as I am happy with it.
School.
Procrastination is over. I am an English major with plans to attend one of the top law schools in the country. I want to be the best at what I do, so I will work hard at it. No less than a 3.5 Gpa is my goal. I will read more books. I am no longer afraid of Toni Morrison. haha. :)
This year is MY year. My mentor told me that she feels this will be a
great year for me and I received it. Im ready to take ACTION!

Haiti.

Here is a fact about me. I am Haitian. Not 100% though. I am also, Creole, French, Native American and Black. I am proud of who I am. As everyone knows. Haiti needs help. Haiti needed help before the earthquake. Now, it needs even more help AFTER the earthquake. Please help in any way that you can. You do no have to be rich. Every PENNY counts.

Single.

For those of you that are single, I have something to say to you, as well as to myself. Do not become discouraged. The longer you wait for your soulmate, the better, because each day, God is customizing that person to perfectly fit you.
